10 Free Trades at PlayTrade – Sell Your Stuff at Play.com

If you have unwanted games, DVDs or CDs then you can sell them at Play.com. All you have to do is register (if you’ve bought from them you can use the same account) and then list your stuff in the Playtrade section. You set the price and then sit back and hope someone buys your unwanted gear.

Usually Play.com take a percentage fee from the trades, but in July they’re offering 10 free trades so now is a good time to get selling.

We’ve used the service before and it’s pretty painless. You enter your Game, CD or DVD title and Play.com will find other listings and give you a guide price Other users can then search and if they want to buy your item you receive an email notifying you that it’s been sold. You then send it off and the money is transferred to your account to buy other goodies.

One thing worth noting is that you do need to keep an eye on “item sold” notifications. We’ve missed them and only known about a sale once a stern telling off for not sending the item on time arrives in the inbox.

If you’re not keen on eBay but want to earn some extra pounds to spend on other CDs, DVDs or games then Playtrade is recommended (and don’t forget those free trades)!
