Turn Your Old Mobile Into Cash With Mazuma Mobile

Leave the first response May 13, 2009 / Posted in Mobiles

Recycling your old mobile phone is a good way to pick up a few extra pounds. If you’ve got a handset or two gathering dust in a draw then go and find and then head on over to Mazuma Mobile and find out how much they’d be willing to pay for it. Just enter the handset code into a form and Mazuma will tell you how much they’ll be happy to give you in exchange for the phone.

If you’re happy with the amount then you just complete your details. Mazuma will send out a freepost envelope, you then send in your phone and in return you’ll get your cash.

If you’re worried about any data stored on your mobile getting into the wrong hands you can use Mazuma’s free Mobile Data Delete Tool. Complete a quick form and Mazuma will email you over the details (this is useful even if you don’t want to recycle your old phone)!

So the big question is – how much will Mazuma pay? As of May 2009 you can get £50 for a Nokia Slide 6500, £28 for a Sony Ericsson K800i £25 for a Samsung U600 and £100 for a Nokia N95.

Of course the older the handset the less money you’ll get for it, but it’s worth a look. If you’ve got a number of handsets lying around then you could be losing money simply by not recycling them.

This is an interesting freebie that claims to help you save on your water bills. It’s the Showersmart and they’re being distributed for nowt as part of a Government-backed scheme through Eaga Group. All you have to do is send in your details and they’ll send you a free Showersmart. One offer per household.

So what is a Showersmart?

It’s a little device that you can easily attach on your shower hose or mixer tap (you don’t even need a plumber) and it then helps regulate the water flow through your shower. Installation Help!

According to Eage it is suitable for all non-electric showers and regulates the flow rate of a shower to 7.8 litres per minute – the equivalent of a powerful electric shower. For a 2-person household, the eaga ShowerSmart will typically save more than 12,000 litres per year.

Leave the first response April 15, 2009 / Posted in Free Bingo

Bingo site Bucky Bingo (or Buckingham Bingo to give it it’s posher name) are running another free bingo evening on April 17th. From 6pm – 11pm head on over to the Buckingham Bingo Room where you’ll find loads of free bingo games. There’s also over £1500 in guaranteed prize money to be won.

Not only can you enjoy free games at Bucky Bingo they are also one of the few sites that offer new players a welcome freebie. We signed up a few weeks ago and this week a free mouse mat and fridge magnet turned up in the post. You can get these freebies without making a deposit in cash too.

Another site that offers a freebie is Bingo Playground. New players get a £15 no deposit bonus, but the site does say you can also get a free tshirt. It’s not totally clear how you get this though (we’ll see what we can find out for you).

Slightly more clearer, and just to round up this freebies with bingo blog, there’s a new promotion underway at Ann Summers Bingo. They’re offering a free Rampant Rabbit Elite (there’s an alternative for the guys btw). Sadly this “freebie” requires you to spend some money and is for new players depositing and playing through at least £50. The toy is worth £40.

It’s been a while since we had a new Jackpotjoy free points game to tell you about, but especially for Easter they’ve given us a fun new one for you to try. Take part in the Easter Pairs Hunt and you could win loads of prize points (usually 5000 with this game) if you can match up all the pairs in the time allocated. It’s a bit of fun and shouldn’t take you too long to complete.

Free Jackpotjoy Points

When you’ve played the game you’ll be told how many points you’ve won. Click on over to Jackpotjoy and login/register to collect them. You can then use these prize points to enter some free prize draws. Current prizes include £500 cash and £300 in House of Fraser Vouchers. There are new prizes every week and you can build up your prize points until you’re ready to use.

If you’ve got time on Good Friday (10th April) then make sure you have a ticket for the £100,000 Star Jackpot game that will be taking place at 9pm at Jackpotjoy. There are free tickets to be picked up for depositing and playing money, but if you’re a new player to JPJ then for a £10 deposit you’ll get £10 matched deposit and £30 of free bingo cards for the Star Jackpot game. This offer expires on 10th April!

Free Grand National Bets & Sweepstakes

Leave the first response April 3, 2009 / Posted in Free Bets

Tomorrow (April 4th) is The 2009 Grand National at Aintree and that means loads of people who wouldn’t usually have a flutter decide to stake a few pounds on a potential winner. Once upon a time you used to be able to pick up free bets for The National. The bookies though have pretty much stopped this, although occasionally they team up with the likes of The Sun or The Mirror to offer a small freebie – so keep an eye out for any offers in the tabloids.

If you’re thinking of having a bet tomorrow then there are some bookmakers who do offer free bets, although these always come with terms and conditions.

For example Paddy Power are offering £20 in free bets. In order to get this you will need to bet 5 times of at least £5 and they’ll match your average stake, up to a maximum of £10. Bet another 5 times of at least £5 and they’ll match it again, up to a max of £10.

Our advice is if you’re betting £25 on The Grand National, make 5 x £5 individual bets – and this will get you £5 free! If you’re not interested in free bets, note that Paddy Power are paying on the top 5 finishers for The National!

Betting Exchange site Betfair offer a free bet up to £25. This is the value of your first bet (placed within 21 days) and only your first bet placed during the promotion period is eligible for this offer.

If you fancy a free bet on The Grand National from Coral then do it today (Friday) as on the 4th and 5th of the month they’re suspending their free bet promotion (as do many other bookies). The £10 free bet offer is available for new customers who deposit and bet £10 on a sporting event.

If of course all this seems a bit too much hassle and you fancy taking part in a sweepstake then head on over to Tombola. You will need to have paid and played at least one game on the site, but this means you can join in the free Grand National sweepstake. If your horse comes in first then you’ll get a free £5 bonus. Also by paying and playing you’ll be able to play Freefall, a free to play game with £20000 of prizes to be won every week!
