If you like to share files between friends, family and work colleagues or even just between your own devices then it can sometimes be a bit of a pain sending files, remembering to put them on disc or memory sticks. Humyo is a free service that could be very useful. It’s a file sharing storage facility that’s ideal for business and consumers alike.

If you register for free you get 5GB storage for media files, 5GB storage for non media files and you’re able to access the files via a web browser or mobile phone. There are premium paid for options available too if you need to upgrade. If you do choose to upgrade then you can use voucher code 10PctPremiumJJS to save 10% off a Premium Storage Annual Account. This expires on 31st May.

Registering for a free Humyo account is quick and easy. Uploading files is straightforward too and you share your files with people via email, who are on facebook or on your Humyo friend’s list.

The free service is punctuated with advertising, but this isn’t intrusive. You can remove the adverts by paying for a premium service, although you’d probably only want this if you’re sharing loads of files or are intending to use Humyo for business.

One use for Humyo is for storing important documents, for example travel details, insurance confirmation, work presentations or work articles. If you’ve left your discs at home or files have been corrupted then by logging into Humyo you can pick up a back up of anything you need.

Recycling your old mobile phone is a good way to pick up a few extra pounds. If you’ve got a handset or two gathering dust in a draw then go and find and then head on over to Mazuma Mobile and find out how much they’d be willing to pay for it. Just enter the handset code into a form and Mazuma will tell you how much they’ll be happy to give you in exchange for the phone.

This is an interesting freebie that claims to help you save on your water bills. It’s the Showersmart and they’re being distributed for nowt as part of a Government-backed scheme through Eaga Group. All you have to do is send in your details and they’ll send you a free Showersmart. One offer per household.

So what is a Showersmart?

It’s a little device that you can easily attach on your shower hose or mixer tap (you don’t even need a plumber) and it then helps regulate the water flow through your shower. Installation Help!

According to Eage it is suitable for all non-electric showers and regulates the flow rate of a shower to 7.8 litres per minute – the equivalent of a powerful electric shower. For a 2-person household, the eaga ShowerSmart will typically save more than 12,000 litres per year.

So this little freebie could help save you energy, water and money – how good is that!

Bingo site Bucky Bingo (or Buckingham Bingo to give it it’s posher name) are running another free bingo evening on April 17th. From 6pm – 11pm head on over to the Buckingham Bingo Room where you’ll find loads of free bingo games. There’s also over £1500 in guaranteed prize money to be won.
